As part of an academic Industrial Production Engineering project at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology (TEC), I participated in a time and motion study at AkzoNobel's paint manufacturing facility. Our team analyzed paint filling and packaging operations, including different container sizes, to identify bottlenecks, delays, and opportunities to improve productivity. We evaluated workflow efficiency, calculated standard times, and proposed improvements involving material handling, process standardization, production scheduling, and operational checklists. This experience strengthened my skills in data analysis, process improvement, time studies, and industrial operations.
