Sono un ingegnere del mixing con oltre 25 anni di esperienza nel mixare alternative rock, space rock, progressive rock, shoegaze rock, metal e simili. Ho iniziato a mixare quando avevo 14 anni, usando una Tascam 4-Track tape machine. Ho lavorato in diversi studi negli Stati Uniti, tra cui Orbit Audio a Seattle. Lì ho registrato l'album prog di A Violent Purple, A Series of Images. Nel corso degli anni ho imparato molti trucchi per un mixing e mastering di livello superiore, grazie anche a grandi ingegneri.
Sono disponibile sia per il mixing che per il mastering. Se ti interessa solo uno dei due, basta farmelo sapere. Mixo in uno studio con una stanza trattata e calibrata e utilizzo un subwoofer. Così riesco a ottenere mix molto precisi e bassi profondi.
I miei mixer preferiti sono Joe Baressi, Butch Big, Rich Costey e Ken Andrews. Le band che ascolto di più sono Tool, Failure e The Mars Volta. Spero questo ti dia un'idea di cosa ascolto.
