I will write your skilled trades and blue collar resume
Informazioni su questo servizio
Most trades resumes get thrown out for reasons that have nothing to do with the work you can do.
I came up in industrial trades I worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding so I know how these postings get written, and what most resumes leave off.
WHAT GETS MISSED
Your certs, worded the way the posting words them. AWS and your processes if you weld. EPA 608 if you're HVAC. Journeyman license and NFPA 70E if you're electrical. ASE, NCCCO, CDL endorsements, NCCER, OSHA 10 or 30 whatever you hold.
Your real skills, not one vague word. "Welding" should read SMAW, GMAW, FCAW. "HVAC" should read split systems, refrigerant recovery, brazing.
Blueprint reading, on its own line.
What level you're applying at. Entry, apprentice, journeyman and experienced are different postings.
WHO IT'S FOR
Welders, electricians, HVAC techs, plumbers, pipefitters, machinists, mechanics, carpenters, operators, linemen, maintenance, CDL.
First job out of trade school or twenty years in, both work. Coming from another trade or the military counts for more than you think.
One or two clean pages. Nothing you wouldn't say out loud.
Send your work history however you've got it. Even notes.

FAQ
what trades do you cover
All of them. Welding, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting, machining, diesel and auto, carpentry, ironwork, heavy equipment, line work, maintenance, CDL. Residential, commercial, industrial, or field.
I don't have a resume at all can you still help?
Yes, most of my clients don't. Type out where you've worked and what you did and I'll take it from there.
I'm going for my first job with no experience
Entry-level and apprentice postings are their own category with their own requirements. No experience isn't the problem. A resume that ignores what they're asking for is.
Can you guarantee I get the job?
No, and I'd be careful with anyone who says they can. What I make sure of is that you don't get filtered out before a human reads it.
How fast is delivery?
Three days standard. Message me first if you're up against a deadline.
Do you write cover letters?
Included in the Premium package.
I'm switching trades. Is that a problem?
No. A lot of employers count related trades, construction, and military service toward their requirements. Most applicants just don't know to put it on the page that way.
