Collecting Knowledge of the Seediq Indigenous People in Taiwan

I work as a full-time assistant at the Seediq Knowledge Research Center at Providence University in Taiwan. My primary professional responsibility is to collect and document cultural knowledge of the Taiwanese indigenous Seediq people. While studying the Seediq language, I discovered that their speech is predominantly built on metaphors. A single sentence often carries multiple layers of meaning and is rich with vivid imagery. This experience gradually cultivated my own ability to write poetry using strong visual metaphors. Expressing emotions through imagery and scenes is my greatest professional strength.
