I'm an electrical-electronics technician who writes code, and that combination is where I'm most useful. I build Python scripts that handle repetitive Excel and CSV work - merging files, cleaning messy data, comparing datasets, generating reports. If you do it by hand every week, it can probably be a script. Messy input doesn't scare me: instrument exports, sensor logs, machine-generated files that were never tidy spreadsheets.
