How many students do you teach in each session?
Just one: you. These are private, online tutoring sessions, dedicated to answering *your* questions and getting you up to speed quickly.
What can I expect?
Before we begin, I will ask about your goals and what you want to accomplish in Audacity, and how much you already know about it. You're welcome to submit specific questions in advance or sample work files we can look at together. Our training sessions take place in Zoom web conferences.
What is a typical training session like?
If you're new to Audacity we'll start with the basics. By the end of your first lesson you'll know how to create and save a project, import sound files, record new sounds, and how to cut, paste and delete clips, adjust volume and export your files.
Do you have a set course outline or syllabus?
Each session is tailored to the needs of the individual learner. My goal is to get you up and running as soon as possible, and to help you solve any problems you might have. If you would like me to provide a summary of your class sessions, please order the "written summary" add-on.
Can I get a video of our online session?
Yes! Just order the "Class Video" add on at the time of your order. If you order multiple classes at the same time, the fee covers recordings of ALL classes you've signed up for.
Can I get a written summary of what we cover in the class?
Yes! Please order the "WRITTEN SUMMARY" add-on when you order. You will receive a detailed 8 to 10 page guide with detailed step-by-step instructions of everything we've covered in your online class. Because it's written just for you, it will be delivered 2 to 5 days following your online session.
What is your Hand Holding Service?
Sometimes it's good to know who to call when you run into trouble. If you order Hand Holding when you order your class, you'll get my direct contact info, and I'll be available to help you through any Audacity problems you encounter. LIMITED TO USA CLIENTS ONLY.
Do you provide technical support?
Sorry, but no. I cannot help you with general computer problems involving Windows, or other software or hardware. Your best bet is to contact a computer-savvy friend or local professional to help you.
