As Online Shop Manager at Kleines Kraftwerk, I am involved in the technical operation and ongoing development of the Shopify stores kleineskraftwerk.de and solarmarkt24.de, both operating in the solar energy sector. I work closely with the marketing, partnerships, customer service and design teams, translating business requirements into concrete shop improvements across a broad range of tasks. My Shopify work covers theme customization in both the editor and code, including design and functionality adjustments, bug fixing, and conversion optimization across page structure, navigation, product pages and checkout. I optimize store performance based on Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed Insights data, maintain product and category data, configure metaobjects and metafields for various use cases, manage app integrations, and build Shopify Workflows to automate internal processes. On the marketing side, I create, configure and maintain product feeds for Google Shopping, Meta and other advertising platforms, and develop email and web push marketing campaigns for customer retention and reactivation. For SEO and content, I write and optimize conversion-focused, search engine optimized product and category texts based on ranking data and search analytics. I also ensure legal compliance in the day-to-day shop operation, covering product labeling, legally compliant copy and accessibility requirements.

Since 2022, I have been independently building and operating a Shopify dropshipping store for Montessori children's furniture and educational toys in the DACH market – without a team, without an agency. Every aspect of the business is in my hands, from technical setup and marketing to supplier management and accounting. This project is the foundation of my freelance work: I understand the challenges small online retailers face because I live them every day. On the technical side, I handle complete Shopify store setup including theme customization in the editor and code, bug fixing, conversion optimization across page structure, CTAs and checkout flow, as well as page speed optimization using PageSpeed Insights and Core Web Vitals. I configure metaobjects and metafields and manage app integrations. For marketing, I run Google Ads, Meta Ads and Pinterest Ads campaigns, create product feeds for advertising platforms, manage email marketing via Klaviyo, and produce social media and Pinterest content. My SEO work covers keyword research and clustering, landing page assignment, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and creation of SEO-optimized product and category content. I track performance through GA4, Search Console, Hotjar, Semrush and Ahrefs, and use these insights to continuously improve the store. Beyond the technical and marketing work, I conduct target audience and competitor research, negotiate with EU-based suppliers, and handle all legal and accounting requirements including privacy policies, accessibility compliance and terms of service.
