I taught children with severe to profound cognitive disabilities in an all special education school, academics, social skills, feeding skills, social emotional skills, toileting skills, greater independence, trust, communication skills, and much more. I feel like these kids taught me just as much as I taught them. I believe that all children can learn and with me, they did. This was a very special part of my career and life. I was a literacy coach, team leader, and much more.
