FAQ
What is a beta read?
A reader’s honest response to your manuscript before publication. I tell you what works, what confuses me, and where my attention dropped.
Alpha or beta, what’s the difference?
Alpha reading is for early or rough drafts, focusing on big-picture story issues. Beta reading is for a more complete draft. I offer both. Tell me which stage you’re at.
Do you use AI to read or write feedback?
No. I read your manuscript myself and write the report myself.
Will you fix my grammar?
No, this gig covers story feedback only. For proofreading or line editing, see my other gigs.
Is my manuscript safe?
Yes. It stays private, is never shared or copied, and I’ll delete it after delivery on request.
