I will create interactive mvp prototype

Borrowly is an interactive MVP prototype for a peer-to-peer lending marketplace borrow a drill, a tent or a camera from a neighbour a few streets away instead of buying one.

I designed and built the full front-end in React across six screens: Browse, Item Details, Create Listing, Rental Request, Favourites, and Chat with pickup handover.

It is a working prototype, not static mockups. Search and category filters are live. The price and deposit recalculate as you change the dates and duration. Publishing a listing adds it straight to the feed. Sending a request opens a real conversation with the owner, complete with pickup time, address, code and a confirmation step.

Built on a custom design system tokens for colour, type and spacing, reusable components, hover and active states throughout, and a layout that works on desktop and on a real phone.

Every item illustration is hand-drawn SVG rather than stock photography, so the prototype carries no external assets and loads instantly.

Mock data only: no backend, no accounts, no third-party services.

Delivered as a clickable live link plus clean, documented source code ready to hand to a development team.
