Across a variety of roles at CDC, I analyzed endogenous compounds, poisons, and toxins using LC-MS/MS and multiple sample preparation techniques. All of my work was highly regulated and subject to strict quality control. I was responsible for keeping thorough logs of my work and writing detailed reports for a variety of audiences. I published five first-author journal articles on my research, including in Toxicon and Biomedical Chromatography, and multiple others as co-author. I often reviewed and edited my colleagues' papers before they were submitted for publication, and I prepared many presentations and posters for scientific conferences and meetings.
