Does the revision include changes I make to the script?
No, please place a separate order or request an additional revision for any script changes! The included revision is for pacing/delivery only.
Can you do my project for a lower rate?
No, sorry! I put in a lot of work on these voiceovers, from recording to editing. The rate I charge is already at the low end of the industry standard range and I really can't do it for any less without devaluing the work I (and my fellow voiceover artists) put into our craft.
How long will it take?
I generally have a very quick turnaround time. Of course it depends on the length of the script and what time you submit the order (I have to sleep sometime!) but I work very fast.
Can I purchase rights in perpetuity?
This depends on the content! For non-broadcast/organic only projects this may be fine (send me a message to confirm!). For paid commercial or broadcast content I am happy to discuss rights for up to 1-3 years, priced depending on your intended usage and market.
How much for paid broadcast rights?
This really depends on the project. Factors include: the intended market size, what platforms the content will be used on, and how long the campaign will run for. For any paid/promoted commercial projects please send me a message before ordering and I can give you a quote!
What kind of project qualifies for the "non-broadcast rights" Extra?
Several things would fit into this category! Any non-paid public facing content. For example: unpaid/organic social media content or a video that will live only on your website landing page. Please send me a message before ordering and I can let you know if your project qualifies. :)
Are there any orders that don't require rights?
Yes! No need to purchase rights for anything intended for internal usage only. This also applies to IVR/telephony and some eLearning and audiobook content. If you're not 100% sure please send me a message before ordering and I can give you a quote. :)
Why don't you include broadcast rights as a gig Extra?
When it comes to broadcast rights, there are so many factors to consider it's impossible to create a one-size-fits-all option. For any broadcast content please send me a message and I will give you a quote!
What determines the cost of usage rights?
I base my usage rates on the GVAA rate guide (the industry standard for voiceover). Please feel free to check it out here if you want to get a sense of what the numbers might look like for your commercial project: https://globalvoiceacademy.com/gvaa-rate-guide-2/
What is the difference between the commercial and non-broadcast rights extras?
In the context of Fiverr these are the same thing. I've included both as extras so each buyer can choose the language that is more clear for their records and their clients. Both extras refer to in-perpetuity usage rights for unpaid/organic content only, and do not cover any paid/promoted usage.
