I will adapt your book into a pilot script for tv
Stati Uniti
Informazioni su questo servizio
Have a sci-fi novel that you think would be a great TV show? I'm here to help! I currently am a board member of a filmmaker's network based in New York City and have experience consulting with both authors and filmmakers.
I offer 3 different services to assist you in your journey to adapting your story into a TV script.
- Book to Script Consultation. This is where we walk through the basic plot lines of the novel to determine how to approach adapting it into a script format. We'll cover what it takes to show not tell when it comes to world building, character development and pacing for the pilot script.
- Script Feedback. Have a rough draft of a script already? I'll read through it and offer feedback on world building, character development and pacing as well as basic formatting best practices.
- Write your Pilot Script For You. Want someone to write the pilot script for you? No problem! I will write up to a 70 page TV pilot based on your sci-fi story. 45 minute zoom call included to talk through the project.

FAQ
What types of stories do you work with?
I love science fiction! Space opera, cyberpunk, steampunk, dystopian, etc. I myself have written two novels in that genre (one of which I have adapted into a tv pilot and am in the process of submitting to contests). I WILL NOT do any NSFW or otherwise harmful content.
What is it like working with you?
I like to understand the projects vision. I want the script to reflect the integrity of the story you have in mind. BUT I do and will make sure you understand that adapting a book means things will have to change because of industry expectations.
How much about scriptwriting should I know before hiring you?
It would be helpful if you familiarized yourself with the structure of a script. See if you can find the script to a book that was adapted to the screen. See how different the script vs the book are. This will give you an idea of what to expect.
