I will set up ci cd with github actions and a security scan gate
DevSecOps engineer: I deploy and secure apps for production
Informazioni su questo servizio
Pushing code by hand, or deploying from your laptop? I build a GitHub Actions pipeline that tests, builds and deploys your app on every merge, and blocks the merge if it finds a leaked secret or a serious vulnerable package.
What I set up: build and test on every pull request, Docker image build, deploy to your server or AWS, a rollback step, and secrets kept in GitHub's encrypted store instead of the code. For AWS I use OIDC, so no long-lived keys sit in your repo.
The security gate runs secret, dependency and container scans on each pull request. You see the result in the pull request itself, in plain language.
Recent work: for a JEE coaching institute in Bengaluru I built this pipeline with a security gate on every pull request and a weekly AWS audit.
I fix deploy, config and infrastructure issues. Application bugs are quoted separately. I do not work with Kubernetes.
Message me first with your repo link and where you deploy.

FAQ
What do I need to give you?
Repo access, the server or cloud account details (or an invite for me), and how you deploy today. I use invited access and never ask for passwords in chat.
Which platforms do you cover?
GitHub Actions for GitHub repos. I deploy to AWS, DigitalOcean and plain VPS servers. I also know Jenkins. For GitLab, message me first.
What if my app has no tests?
I wire in whatever tests you have, plus a build check. Writing new tests is quoted separately.
Do you work with Kubernetes?
No. For most small apps a single server or a managed container service such as AWS ECS Fargate is simpler and cheaper.
Who owns the pipeline and accounts afterwards?
You do. Everything lives in your repo and your accounts, and I leave a short note on how it works and how to change it.
