I'm Joe Muldowney, veteran of 40 years of running. My best marathon time is 2:22:54, and, at age 57, I ran the 2010 Philadelphia in a time of 2:58:56. I am the author of the books: "Running Shorts: A Collection of Stories and Advice for Anyone Who Has Ever Laced Up a Pair of Running Shoes,." and "Personal Best." I have been the head cross country coach at Penn State Schuylkill University since 2007, coaching 3 state champions and an All-American.
