Most AI chatbots just guess. Ask one something that isn't in your docs and it'll make something up, sound confident, and your customer believes it.

I build the other kind. It reads your actual documents FAQ, policies, product info and answers from those only.
What you get:
- a chatbot built on your own files (PDF, Word, text, or pages from your site)
- source citations on every answer so you can check where it came from
- a chat link you can use straight away, or embed on your website
- a short doc showing how to update it as your content changes
Not a drag-and-drop builder. Real document retrieval and Python underneath, so it handles questions the way real people phrase them.
You'll need your own API key from Groq or OpenAI, so usage and data stay yours. Free tiers often cover low-traffic sites, but limits change, so I can't promise that. I'll estimate what you need before you order, and cap usage so a spike can't run up a bill. Message me first if you're not sure it fits.

I build AI chatbots that answer questions from a business's own documents instead of making things up.
My background is Python. Before this I built a voice assistant that handles speech, decides which function to run, and talks to live APIs like Spotify and weather services. Same underlying skills, pointed at something more useful for businesses.
I'm straight with clients about what a bot can and can't do. If your project isn't a good fit for this, I'll tell you before you order rather than after.

FAQ
What kind of documents can you work with?
PDFs, Word docs, text files, markdown, or pages from your website. If your files are scanned images of text I might need to run OCR first — just ask me before ordering.
Is my data safe?
Your files are only used to build your bot. I don't share them or use them for anything else, and I delete my copies once the project is done and you're happy with it. I'm fine signing an NDA.
Can it connect to my website, Slack, or WhatsApp?
Website embed, yes, that's in Standard and Premium. Slack and WhatsApp are doable but not included in these packages — message me and we'll work out scope and price.
What if it gives a wrong answer?
Tell me which question and I'll fix it, either the retrieval or the wording. That's what the revisions are for.
Do I have to pay for anything else?
Just your own API key from Groq or OpenAI. Free tiers usually cover a small site. Nothing else.
