As an intern, I designed and delivered a full-stack Image Recognition application for product identification, integrating cutting-edge deep learning with a cross-platform deployment environment. This project spanned the entire development lifecycle, from data preparation to complex system integration. Core Technical Contributions: Deep Learning Pipeline: Implemented and tested advanced object detection models (YOLOv8 and YOLOv11). MLOps Tools: Utilized Roboflow for image labeling and managed computationally intensive model training on Google Colab after evaluating multiple training platforms. Integrated Architecture: Established a robust communication flow: Python managed the real-time interaction with the YOLO models. C# served as the core backend for API services, business logic, and database operations. Frontend & Deployment: Built the dynamic user interface using React (developed within Microsoft Visual Studio). Networking & Testing: Employed Ngrok to efficiently manage secure package transfer and communication between the frontend, C# backend, and the Python model inference layer during development and testing.
