I will playtest your game and write bug reports

Informazioni su questo servizio
Are you an indie game developer looking for a professional working in FQA field?
With over 1 year of professional tester expierience, lifelong passion for video games and the ability to break everything within close proximity, there's a non-zero chance that I might be QA tester you're looking for!
What I can do in given time with your game:
Excluding basic playtesting and having +1 player that's willing to give feedback, I'll also:
- provide initial impressions, so you can clearly see what's intuitive for new players and what's not
- provide gameplay related feedback, like opinion on the gameplay loop, character movement, what parts feel great and what not quite, and more
- become rubber duck if needed :D, so you can bounce off ideas to a dedicated player
- analyze accessibility features, as this is the part that really gets overlooked by gamedevs
- stress test your game, so you can see how optimized it really is
- write structured and detailed bug reports, with reproduction steps and attachments, so you now exactly what's wrong
Contact me if you have any questions about the gig! (also remember to check FAQ!)

FAQ
What types of games do you test?
Basically anything! I can test a very rough v1 of your project, early access that requires polishing or finished title that needs a fresh pair of eyes. In terms of genres - basically anything! Small 2D indie games, metroidvanias, first person shooters... nothing will surprise me at this point xD
Do you specialize in something specific in terms of bugs?
Nope, as a true entomologist, I enjoy finding and analyzing all sort of different bugs and issues! From small QoL improvements and minor UI shenanigans, to critical errors that might break the game or softlock the player - everything's on the table for me :>
How do you define "feedback" that you're providing?
Basically anything, that might not be obvious to the dev. First time impressions, examination of basic mechanics and the gameplay loop, how (un)intuitive it is, how your game feels to play and how it looks... and probably even more!
Can I re-hire you later?
Absolutely! Working on the same project is much better than jumping around multiple games at once, since I'm skipping fammiliarizing myself with your project next time you'll hire me. It'll improve my working conditions, you'll get better results and everyone will have a better time :D
Can you run high-end titles? What are your specs?
Absolutely! I might not have the newest gaming beast, but I think I represent current middle-ground quite well. i5-10400F, RTX 3070 with 8GB of VRAM, and 48GB of RAM should hangle those heavy Unreal Engine projects without a problem :]
Are you working alone? Can you still test multiplayer games?
Yes, I do work solo for most of the time, but if your game has local or online multiplayer that you wish to test, I can find 1-3 people to do a quick test with. However, the default option is just me, myself and I - if you're looking for a group of testers, I'm not your pick, unfortunately ;<
