I will be your children book editor, proofreading and editing

I will perform a line edit on your children's book or short story. This is where the editing focuses on the story at the paragraph and sentence level. I will help to make sure the reader has a clear understanding by focusing on word choice and sentence and paragraph structure.

I'll also address:

Sentence length and variety

Paragraph flow and transitions

Wordiness and redundancy

Telling versus showing

Dialogue Tags

Remaining big-picture issues

Most errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling

All of this is done using the Microsoft Word Track Changes feature, so you will know what changes I feel should be considered.

This is then followed by a follow-up discussion where I will explain any editing marks or comments that you did not understand.

After you make your necessary changes, I will perform a revision edit where I will go over any changes you have made.
