Informazioni su questo servizio
Planning a bridge, culvert, road crossing or building near a river or stream? Before structural design starts, you need the design flood and the High Flood Level (HFL). I deliver a complete, engineer-ready hydrology and hydraulic study. I will perform professional hydrological and hydraulic modeling using HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS 1D/2D.
WHAT YOU GET
Watershed and sub-basin delineation from DEM
Rainfall frequency analysis(HEC-SSP, Easyfit) and design storms (2 to 100-year return periods), IDF Curve.
Rainfall-runoff modeling in HEC-HMS for design peak discharge
Finding actual Curve Number (CN), imperviousness, initial abstraction, canopy and surface parameter using Google Earth Engine
Time of concentration and lag-time estimation
Peak discharge and hydrograph analysis
HFL at your structure, water surface profile flood depth, velocity and inundation mapping
using HEC-RAS.
Provide your available data or existing model files. If data are missing, I can assess suitable online sources based on your project requirements. I can identify and obtain suitable publicly available datasets from Google Earth Engine, NASA, Climate Engine, and other reliable scientific data platforms.

FAQ
What if there is no rain gauge nearby
I use regional IDF data, nearby stations, or satellite and reanalysis rainfall (IMERG, ERA5) and state the assumptions clearly.
Do I need survey data
I can start with open DEM data (SRTM or ALOS). Surveyed cross-sections give a more accurate HFL, so send them if you have them.
What files do I receive
The report (PDF), maps (PNG and GIS files), and, in Premium, the HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS model files.
