This project involved supporting SAP FICO activities related to financial processing, reconciliation, and month-end closing. The main objective was to correct inaccurate postings, prepare financial summaries, and fix SAP-related errors affecting reporting accuracy. The work included updating vendor and customer records, performing FI postings, clearing open items, and preparing the trial balance, ledger summaries, and ageing reports. Support was provided for resolving transactional errors such as incorrect reconciliation accounts, wrong depreciation postings, and payment execution failures. Additionally, documentation was created for the client's month-end closing workflow, including steps for clearing, reconciliation, depreciation execution and reporting. The result was improved reporting accuracy, reduced manual adjustments, and faster closing cycles for the finance team.
