I owned LLM-powered features end-to-end in a production microservices environment, covering both the backend services and the chat interfaces users interact with. I engineered AI assistant flows using structured prompting pipelines, multiple response types and conversational memory to keep responses relevant for every user. To make the system resilient and secure, I added failover across multiple AI providers and implemented prompt-injection protection. I built real-time streaming chat with stop, retry and session-resume capabilities, so users could leave a conversation and return without losing it. I also designed an AI agent that generates content, automating a manual process. Beyond the AI work, I fixed authentication and reliability bugs, combined multiple service calls into optimized endpoints, and shipped changes with automated tests, type checking and builds. I documented the AI and backend architecture to make onboarding easier and support informed technical decisions.
