A novel needs typography that lets the reader stay with the story.
I format finished fiction manuscripts in Adobe InDesign for paperback or hardcover, with consistent chapter openings, clean paragraph styles and careful attention to dialogue, scene breaks, widows and orphans.
Ideal for text-led novels and novellas, including romance, mystery and thrillers.
You receive:
- A print-ready interior PDF for one agreed trim size and printer
- Front matter, chapter styling, page numbers and running heads where appropriate
- A layout check before delivery
Choose your package by total word count. Each covers one clean, final Word manuscript and an established typography system, with a sample agreed before full layout.
EPUB and editable InDesign files are extras. Covers, editing, illustrations, tables and extensive manuscript cleanup are excluded.
Message me before ordering if your book contains footnotes, unusual typography or other complex elements. I will confirm the scope first.

FAQ
Does this include an ebook?
No. Packages include a print interior PDF. Add a reflowable EPUB extra for the same approved manuscript. The EPUB is checked with EPUBCheck and previewed in Kindle Previewer.
What counts as a revision?
One round is one consolidated list of layout changes within the agreed design. My production errors are corrected without using a round. Rewrites, new chapters and a new design direction need a separate quote.
Can you design a unique interior?
These packages use an established typography system for efficient, consistent production. I agree a sample with you before laying out the full book. Bespoke concepts or unusual typography need a custom quote.
Are covers and source files included?
Cover design is excluded. INDD and IDML files are available as an extra. Commercial fonts and third-party licenses are not included.
Can you format illustrated fiction or footnotes?
Please send a representative sample first. Images, tables, extensive notes and unusual text structures are outside these text-led packages and need a custom quote.
