Chi sono
I’ve always loved helping people learn, which led me to earn my Master’s in Education with a concentration in Training and Development. I create clean, engaging training in Articulate Rise 360 and enjoy designing microlearning with interactive elements. I deliver SCORM, AICC, xAPI, cmi5, or web‑only packages. I believe there’s always room to grow and continuous learning keeps my work fresh, thoughtful, and learner‑focused.... Continua a leggere

Esperienza lavorativa

Training Specialist

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - Division of Comparative Medicine

Oct 2008 - Present17 yrs 9 mos

I’ve spent more than 15 years helping researchers and the Division staff get the training they need to do their jobs confidently and correctly. Over the years, I’ve moved through several roles within the same division, but my focus has always stayed the same: making training clear, practical, and easy for people to actually use. A few things I’ve become known for: - Creating and delivering hands‑on training that helps people feel prepared, supported, and ready to work - Taking our SOPs and turning them into interactive training modules on UNC’s LMS — now used for onboarding, retraining, and keeping everyone up‑to‑date within our division - Building training materials that will soon support researchers as well, keeping everything consistent across teams - Making sure all content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with current expectations - Working closely with leadership and subject matter experts to get the details right and keep workflows smooth - Spotting gaps in training, recommending improvements, and updating materials so they actually solve problems - Listening to feedback from learners and using it to make training clearer, more helpful, and easier to follow My style is practical, collaborative, and people‑focused. I love taking complicated information and turning it into training that feels approachable, makes sense, and genuinely helps people do their best work.
