Stridefully

Stridefully is my passion project, and it is a lifestyle blog with the goal of helping Millennial and Gen Z women live their best lives and live authentically. (But all women are welcome! Gen X and Baby Boomer ladies deserve to feel the same sense of self-love and authenticity.) As the founder of Stridefully, I do all of the work on this blog, including but not limited to... Content research, fact-checking, content outlining... All the way to writing 2000+ word posts. My passion lies in content writing, and I optimize my content for SEO (and AI) while also keeping it human. Finding and editing stock photos (in Adobe Lightroom) to ensure they match my brand aesthetic and have consistent aspect ratios. I also make my own infographics, Pinterest pins, and social media graphics, and this is where my other true passion lies. I even wrote an entire workbook by utilizing Canva to design it from scratch, while also writing the content for it myself. I also designed the cover. And published it on Amazon through their KDP service. I also designed and coded my own WordPress theme, as I have over 10 years of experience with HTML and CSS. As well as over 7 years of JavaScript and jQuery experience.
Receptionist (Unoffical Graphic Designer)
Brookdale Senior Living • Part time
Nov 2020 - Dec 2025 • 5 yrs 1 mo
While I was not officially employed as a graphic designer with Brookdale, I was the "unofficial" graphic designer and writer for the community that I was working in. I was often asked to create flyers for community events to catch the eye of staff, as well as residents and guests. I was also often asked to write engaging letters and notices for the residents, sometimes on relatively short notice, to prepare them for changes to their routine or disruptions such as water shut-offs (for maintenance), temporary holiday scheduling changes, and other events. Along with that, I would also design checklists, write Standard Operating Procedures, and design branded signs for the community. Rather than just using generic large text in a quick Word document. My attention to detail also often had me being the one to organize resident records, MSDS binders, and even organizing State Survey binders.
