I beta reader sono generalmente i primi a criticare il tuo manoscritto, a prendere il tuo libro rifinito e a offrire suggerimenti per farlo brillare ancora di più. Un buon beta reader offrirà critiche costruttive e segnalerà incoerenze, buchi nella trama o lacune informative, oltre ad altri problemi del manoscritto che l'autore potrebbe aver trascurato.
