Ciao. Mi chiamo Susanne. Come lettrice appassionata di storie, leggo circa due libri a settimana. Per lo più ho letto narrativa letteraria e classici, ma negli ultimi anni mi sono orientata di più verso il romance e la narrativa di genere. Ho trascorso la mia vita lavorando nel mondo dell'arte negli Stati Uniti e attualmente sto facendo il master in storia dell'arte in Svezia.
Il mio processo di beta reading ha due fasi.
1. Una lettura semplice, come leggerei qualsiasi libro.
2. Una lettura dettagliata con commenti inseriti in tutto il testo. Qui mi concentro su parti dove trovo la scrittura confusa, scene che durano troppo, finali troppo brevi e qualsiasi cosa che mi faccia tornare indietro o interrompa la lettura. Faccio attenzione anche a:
- piacevolezza, costruzione, sviluppo e coerenza dei personaggi
- azionee plausibilità delle scene, continuità
- trama e ritmo
- costruzione del mondo
- tono e coerenza del punto di vista
- linguaggio leggero: sintassi, ortografia e scelta delle parole
