Please contact me first so we can agree on lead-time and cost. Amounts shown are for reference; your exact fee depends on your available requirements, specifications, and proposed system complexity.
You are enlisting the service of a design engineer who has experience designing, testing, and analyzing circuits that comply with various IEC and ISO standards. I can design either a circuit or a full system.
I can:
- Provide design expertise in all facets of product development, ranging from requirements gathering to V&V.
- Identify peripherals and components to meet specification
- Prepare BOMs and identify assembly variants
- Design ruggedized and/or conforming circuits
My experience spans many types of circuits, including signal-level interfaces (ADC, DAC, encoders, IR, pot., debouncers, etc.), communication buses (SPI, I2C, etc.), storage, motor control, power supplies (SMPS), transient suppression, drivers (window-comparators, PWM, LEDs, CC/CV, etc.), and communication (CAN, LIN, RS232, etc.).

What is your process? (Contact me first!)
1. Contact me first for a free consult. 2. After we agree on requirements, the price, and the timeline, place an order. 3. I will create schematic(s) for your approval. Simulations are included to show conformance to requirements. 4. I will use your feedback to refine and annotate the circuits.
What will I get?
I provide annotated schematics, simulations, PCB layout, renderings (including your product geometry), and design notes / manufacturing instructions. I am happy to select components with packages to meet your requirements (thermal, mechanical / vibration, size, hand-solderability, etc.).
Why isn't this $5?
I am an experienced design engineer. Creating quality work that will last beyond a month of use requires time. My fees correspond to this, and I trust that I will save you money and time overall. Doing it right the first time is cheaper than rework!

Sustyent was the only one willing to accept my design request. From the responses I got from other sellers my project is fairly complicated. Sustyent accepted and I am blown away by the quality of the work. I have received a complete design, including PCB design, BOM, silkscreen masks, diagrams, everything. A++
