What do you need before starting?
I need your repository, application stack, build and start commands, environment-variable list, hosting details and any current error logs. Server credentials should only be shared after an order has started.
I don’t have an AWS account yet.
No worries, I’ll walk you through creating one and set everything up inside your account. You keep full ownership and control.
Does my application need to work locally?
Ideally, yes. This gig primarily covers deployment. I can fix small configuration or deployment-related code issues, but major application bugs require a separate custom offer.
My deployment is already broken. Can you fix it instead of rebuilding?
Usually yes, and it’s often cheaper. Send me the error logs and pipeline config first.
Can you deploy to DigitalOcean or another VPS?
Yes, I can deploy to standard Ubuntu VPS providers such as DigitalOcean, Hetzner or Contabo. Please contact me before ordering because the setup may differ from AWS EC2.
What about ongoing maintenance?
I offer a monthly retainer for monitoring and support. Message me for pricing.
Does the Basic package include Docker?
No. Basic uses PM2 for a straightforward Node.js deployment. Docker and Docker Compose are included in Standard and Premium.
Will my application deploy automatically from GitHub?
Automatic GitHub deployment is included in Standard and Premium. I will configure the workflow and explain which branch triggers deployment.
Can you deploy both frontend and backend?
Yes. A separate frontend and backend are covered by Premium or by a custom offer, depending on the infrastructure and database requirements.
How will credentials be handled?
Please create temporary or restricted credentials whenever possible. After delivery, revoke temporary access, rotate secrets and remove any keys that are no longer needed.
