I taught piano, guitar, and music production at Base Academy of Music (BAM) in Kansas City. Base Academy of Music is a non-profit music organization that makes starting to learn a musical instrument accessible and affordable for urban youth because we believe music education is a reason and means to succeed. I strived to help students from all walks of life find their personal connection to music. -Taught 50+ students across 2 years, sharing my knowledge of piano, guitar, and music production to help students understand the power of music and creativity. -Helped advanced students in songwriting, music production, music theory, and developing their own styles. Taught students in Digital Audio Workstations such as FL Studio and Ableton Live. -Worked with a wide age range (6–45), adapting lessons to individual skill levels and goals. -Contributed to fundraising efforts, helping raise thousands of dollars through community campaigns.

I’m grateful I found Tay. He’s very knowledgable. I was feeling overwhelmed as a beginner music student, but he answered all my questions. I now know what my next steps are. I was feeling a bit unsure but he gave me the motivation boost I needed and I will be booking more sessions with him. Thanks Tay!

I gotta say, Taylor totally blew me out of the water with this one, his mix compared to the original...
