FAQ
What's the difference between Rive and Lottie?
Rive supports state machines and interactivity natively, runs leaner than Lottie for complex animations, and is the modern standard for product UI motion. Lottie is better for one-way animations exported from After Effects. I can deliver either depending on your runtime — just tell me which.
Can you work from my Figma designs?
Yes. Send the Figma link with view access and tell me which components you want animated. I import directly into Rive and build the state machine from there.
Do you provide developer implementation help?
es — Premium tier includes runtime integration assistance for React (rive-react), React Native, Flutter, iOS, Android, Unity, and web. I deliver the .riv file, state machine input documentation, and example code snippets.
What if I don't have designs yet?
I can design from scratch in the Premium tier. Send me a brief (mood, brand colors, references) and I'll create concepts in Figma or Illustrator before animating in Rive.
Are revisions really unlimited in Premium?
Yes. We iterate until you're happy. Basic has 2 rounds, Standard 3, Premium unlimited (within the agreed scope).
Do you export to Lottie / JSON?
Yes — included in Premium, and available as an add-on ($35) on Basic / Standard. Note: complex Rive state machines don't always convert 1:1 — I'll flag if anything needs simplification.
What about commercial use and source files?
All deliverables are licensed for commercial use within your product. Source files (.riv, .fig) are included on Standard and Premium, or available as an add-on on Basic.
Can you do ongoing or monthly work?
Yes — I offer custom subscription packages for SaaS teams needing continuous UI motion. Message me before ordering to set up a subscription.
