Built an Android e-commerce app that automates drinking water delivery Process. ▪ Includes Automatic distributor allocation, delivery routing, delivery scheduling. ▪ Stock request management via SAP and OMS integration. ▪ Driver-managed order edits with on spot sales creation. ▪ Payment integration (cash, card, in-app). ▪ Invoice printing with transaction history access. ▪ Android Studio, Android SDK, Higher Order functions, Kotlin, Navigation, MVVM, Git, Slack, Extension function. ▪ Retrofit: Used to fetch and transform REST API JSON responses into User-Defined Objects for storing into local DB. ▪ MVVM: Used it to distribute the workload between components such as model, view and view-model. ▪ Room/ SQLite: Used these for local storage to enable offline access. ▪ FCM: Used FCM to send and receive requests / approval Notifications from Driver and Supervisor apps. ▪ NearPay: Integrated in app-payment option using this SDK. and purchaseTransaction API for executing and handling payment transaction workflows. ▪ Coroutines: Used Kotlin Coroutines with context switching, utilizing Dispatchers.Main for UI operations and Dispatchers.IO for background tasks. ▪ LiveData: Implemented reactive data pipelines using Kotlin Flows with LiveData conversion for lifecycle-aware UI observation. ▪ Flows: Implemented Kotlin flows to emit data from network and local db to the UI on Main Thread. ▪ Hilt/ Dagger: Used for Injecting dependencies automatically, giving required objects and reducing boilerplate code. ▪ XML Layouts: Designed responsive and user-friendly Android UIs using XML layouts for multiple screen sizes, integrated App Navigation & MPAndroidChart libraries to display statistical Pie and Bar charts. ▪ Jetpack Compose: Practiced designing Android UIs using Jetpack Compose for different screens. ▪ Production Support: Provided production support by diagnosing and resolving issues as soon as they occurred.
