I work with children aged 15 months to 18 years on comprehensive speech and language skills. This is all encompassing including taking patient history, interviewing the family and caregivers, completing an assessment, writing functional goals that blend evaluation results with parent/family concerns, implementing those goals, and then re-evaluating as needed. Goals for my patients include speech production, receptive language, expressive language, cognition, social language skills, oral motor skills, sensory feeding, executive functioning skills, augmentative-alternative communication, and any other skills that support independent communication and improve self-confidence.
