I will design mechanical part using solidworks

Cover Plate (Image 1):

• I created model of cover plate, on SolidWorks.
• For fitting, each hole has Ø0.20. Radius of each outer edge is 0.38.
• The vertical center distance b/w holes is 2.0 and horizontal center distance b/w holes

is 0.38.

• The width of cover plate is 1.5 and its thickness is 0.046.
• The vertical distance of each hole center from the edge of plate is 0.25.
• The dimensions of the rectangular cut and side cut are 0.5 x 0.31 each. The distance

b/w the right edge of the plate and the right edge of the rectangular cut is 0.56 (right

edge of the rectangular cut coincides with the centerline of the bottom hole). The

distance of the bottom edges of the rectangular cut and the side cut from the hole

center is 0.75 each.

• All dimensions are in inches.
• Material of cover plate is low carbon steel.

Engine Side Cover (Image 2):

• I created this side cover of the car engine, on SolidWorks.  
• Big arc radius is 93. The extended arc material is 10.5 from the arc center.
• Each big wall has the length 302.56 and the angle 31.56° with vertical.
• Each small arc has the radius 51.7.
• The lower side wall has the two angular portions. Each of which has the length 178.6 and the angle 56.8° with
