Hi, my name is Derek and over the past 10 years I’ve built a technology company that allows professional drone footage to be collected anywhere in the United States. Commercial real estate companies have unique challenges due to their properties being spread out geographically making the marketing process difficult and time consuming. My company manages the entire process from start to finish (sourcing, scheduling, troubleshooting, post production, etc) to give the client professional marketing materials for their entire portfolio. We use technology to be a one stop shop for our clients.
FAQ
Are there limits to where you can fly a drone?
Yes. Certain airspace in the United States is restricted to drone flights. If your location falls within these areas you will be notified so an alternative location can be determined.
Are your drone pilots FAA certified?
Yes. All Up Sonder drone pilots are FAA certified and hold their Part 107 remote pilot license. Federal law dictates drone footage used for monetary purposes must be obtained by a certified drone pilot.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. Each flight is covered by a million dollar policy and is included with your purchase.
Does stated project timeline include securing FAA waivers/authorizations if needed?
No. If your location for drone footage requires an FAA wavier do to airspace restrictions, then a new location will need to be considered to stay within the stated package timeline. The FAA tries to review and issue decisions on waiver/authorization requests within 90 days.
