FAQ
How do you make sure I do not lose data in the upgrade?
I never upgrade production directly. I take a copy of your database, run the full migration on staging, then compare record counts and key workflows against the original. Only when that passes do we schedule the live cutover, with a tested rollback ready.
What happens to my custom modules and third-party apps?
Custom code is the main risk in any Odoo upgrade, so I audit it first. Custom modules are ported to the new API and retested. For third-party apps I check whether a compatible version exists and flag anything that needs replacing before you commit.
How much downtime will my business have?
Usually a short planned window, and we can run it outside your business hours. Because the migration is rehearsed on staging first, I know the real runtime before we go live, so you get an accurate window rather than a guess.
Which package should I order if I am not sure yet?
Start with the Upgrade Assessment. I run a test upgrade on a copy of your database and give you a findings report plus a fixed quote for the real one, so you know the cost and risk before committing. Standard covers one version step, Premium multi-version jumps.
