• Building 6-DOF flight dynamics models in MATLAB/Simulink, combining the rigid-body equations of motion with aerodynamic data derived from CFD. • Built a small hardware test rig with Python-based test sequencing to study spool-up/spool-down behavior in a turbojet, fitting a Hammerstein model to about 95,000 samples of test data. • Connected the Simulink model to ArduPilot's SITL simulator over JSON/UDP, and worked through issues with coordinate transforms, airspeed scaling, and control gains for high-speed flight (100–190 m/s).
