FAQ
Will my work and intellectual property remain confidential?
Absolutely. Your manuscript and ideas are 100% your intellectual property. I maintain strict confidentiality and never share, distribute, or discuss your work with third parties. Your draft is completely safe.
What file formats do you accept?
I accept Microsoft Word (.docx) and Google Docs files, as these allow me to add inline comments and reactions directly to the margins of your text. If you only have a PDF, please message me first so we can arrange the best approach.
Is beta reading the same as proofreading or copy editing?
No, beta reading focuses on the big picture: plot structure, pacing, character arcs, worldbuilding, and reader engagement. While I will point out recurring issues if they distract from the reading experience, this service does not replace line-by-line proofreading or grammatical editing.
My manuscript has a word count not covered by your packages. Can you still help?
Yes! If your word count doesn't match the standard packages, just send me a quick message with your total word count and genre. I will happily create a tailored Custom Offer specifically for your project.
What does the Reader Feedback Report include?
The report is a structured, in-depth evaluation summarizing the strengths and growth opportunities of your story. It covers the opening hook, plot logic, pacing, character development, dialogue, worldbuilding, and overall emotional impact, complete with actionable suggestions.
