Most important thing about my developmental edit is to make sure authors who work with me have the best manuscript to gain financial success. My process for that is:
- I provide reader flow (inline comments). If there is an issue that can be solved at the line level, it is immediately addressed here. Issues that might not be raised in the editorial overview are handled in this stage. This is one of the most important parts of my developmental edit.
- Now comes the editorial overview. Here, we discuss plot and structure, world building, tone and voice consistency, and market analysis. Market analysis is the main part. Self publishing platforms allow certain categories, sometimes three or more depending on the platform. The most important question is whether your manuscript is optimized for that, and if not, how to fix it. A conclusion with clear solutions to improve your book is provided.
- I have an add on called Market Fit Ultra. In this, I use marketing concepts like buyer persona and SWOT to show how potential readers would react to different parts of your story. To simplify, it is like simulating beta readers with different tastes and perspectives.

I don’t use AI. You can check my profile for samples of my work, including inline comments and editorial overviews. This is the best proof that I don’t use AI. You can also ask for a free sample before committing.
