As a Junior Accountant, I am responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization. My role includes maintaining accurate financial records, recording transactions, and ensuring proper documentation of all accounting activities. I regularly prepare and verify vouchers, invoices, bills, and expense statements while checking for accuracy and compliance with company policies. I assist in bank reconciliation by matching bank statements with accounting records and identifying discrepancies. I also support monthly and yearly closing activities by organizing data, updating ledgers, and assisting senior accountants in preparing financial reports. My work involves handling accounts payable and receivable, tracking outstanding balances, and following up when required. Additionally, I maintain organized files and records for audits and internal reviews. I use MS Excel for data entry, reporting, and basic analysis, ensuring timely and error-free submissions. I follow accounting standards and maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times. Through consistent attention to detail, time management, and willingness to learn, I contribute to smooth financial operations and support the overall efficiency of the accounting department.
