I will beta read your novel, short story, or manuscript and provide a thoughtful reader report focused on what is working, what is unclear, and where the story could be stronger.
My feedback can address pacing, plot, character development, dialogue, structure, emotional impact, worldbuilding, reader engagement, and any specific questions you want me to consider. I do not simply summarize my reactions, I give clear examples from your draft so you can understand why something is or is not landing.
Please note: This is a beta reading / manuscript critique service, not proofreading, line editing, copyediting, formatting, ghostwriting, or rewriting. I may point out recurring writing issues when they affect the reading experience, but I will not correct every sentence or make changes directly in the manuscript unless we agree on a custom editing order.
This service is best for writers who want honest, practical, encouraging feedback before revising, querying, publishing, or sending their work to another editor.

What will I receive?
A reader report with organized feedback on strengths, concerns, and revision opportunities, with examples from your manuscript.
Can I send questions for you to answer?
Yes. I welcome specific questions about character, pacing, plot, romance, ending, worldbuilding, or anything else you want reader feedback on.
Do you read unfinished drafts?
Yes. I can review early drafts, partial manuscripts, short stories, or completed novels.
What genres do you read?
Pretty much anything: fiction, women’s fiction, romance, mystery, literary fiction, YA, non-fiction, biography, memoir, self-help, religious study, etc. I will not review "spicy" romance books, but I'm otherwise open to most genres.
Do you edit or proofread the manuscript?
No. This gig is for beta reading and developmental-style feedback. I may flag recurring issues, but I do not correct every sentence.
