Turning English Into Natural Japanese You Can Trust

Chi sono
Hi! I’m a freelance translator based in Osaka, Japan, and a former English teacher with 22 years of experience. I’m friendly, caring, and love connecting with people. I truly love Japan and enjoy sharing its culture with others.
I’m a mom to a daughter who loves dinosaurs and animals, and we often visit kid-friendly places, such as parks, theme parks, zoos and dinosaur museums around Osaka and western Japan. I love sports, martial arts, travel, Disney movies, manga, anime, and classic games like Mario, DQ, and FF (RPGs). I believe life is more fun when you stay curious, active, and positive.

I wholly recommend Yuri for children’s book translating from English to Japanese! Yuri provided a detailed explanation of how she would approach the project from the very start and accepted my suggestions , ideas and input at every stage. I am extremely happy with the final translated product and hope to work with Yuri again soon .

Really friendly and professional. Yuri helped me with my book translation and did a wonderful job. She handled everything with great care and attention. My schedule was tight, but she still delivered very quickly. I highly recommend her if you need a Japanese translation. Thank you so much again!
