My Voice over background and Home studio equipments
2 years in Japanese Voice actor's training institute. After graduation, I belonged to a voice over agency in Tokyo, and worked as a pro voice actor for various projects. Currently working as a freelancer in US, recording from home studio. (Sennheiser MKH416, audio-technica AT4040, Audient id14)
What kind of projects do you accept?
I'd be happy to work on any kind of projects except explicit contents. I will not be able to accept machine translated scripts, or scripts with bad translations unless you add Translation($5 per 100 words) and let me re-translate them.
How should I count words in Japanese?
Please count the Japanese Characters instead of words. e.g. "青空にかかった虹" would be counted as 8words. 青1 空2 に3 か4 か5 っ6 た7 虹8
Do you do English Voice over?
Yes! I will happily do English Voice over. $5 per 25 words (not characters). e.g. "I can not wait to work with you!" would be counted as 8 words. Scripts with both Japanese and English, would all be custom offer.
I only have the English script. How should I order?
Please contact me and I would make a quote for you! I'll need your English script, and project details. For your reference, when you translate English to Japanese, English words times 2.5 would be the minimum number of Japanese characters. 100 English words = 250-600 or more Japanese characters.
Can you split audio files?
Yes, I can split audio files to make the editing easier for you! They would all be custom orders so please give me a message or request. The pricing would be$1 per 5 files. Extra 1 day per 30 files would be needed for delivery.
Do I need to purchase Commercial Rights or/and Broadcast Rights?
If you will use the voice over just for a personal project, you do not need to add Commercial Rights or Broadcast Rights. But all business related use for the creation of, or to promote a product/service/campaign/organization will require adding one or mulitiple licenses.
What is Commercial Rights?
Every project that promotes a product/service etc. will need to add Commercial Rights. This includes promotion on non-paid platforms, and non-profit business. You can only use for limited public reach without the Broadcast Rights. e.g. Promotion video on company website, etc.
What is Broadcast Rights?
Every creation/promotion that you would broadcast on TV/Radio, stream on paid or monetized platforms, you will need to add Broadcast Rights. Please read the description and choose from Limited Broadcast Rights or Full Broadcast Rights.
What is Product Release Rights?
Product Release Rights is a buyout license to use VO for products sold to public. e.g.)Toys, video games, E-learning package
