Both. Most of my work is fixing existing Shopify stores: broken checkout, layout glitches after a theme update, payment gateway errors, and app conflicts. If you're starting fresh, I also build and customize new Shopify themes from scratch using clean Liquid code.
Q: Can you customize my current Shopify theme instead of building a new one?
Yes. I can modify your existing theme's Liquid code, add custom sections, adjust layouts, and update styling without touching your existing content or losing your current setup. You keep your theme; I make it work the way you need.
Q: How fast can you fix a Shopify bug or checkout error?
Most single bug fixes (checkout errors, layout issues, broken buttons, mobile display problems) are delivered within 24-48 hours. Larger customizations like custom sections or app integrations usually take 3-5 days depending on scope.
Q: Do you integrate third-party apps into my Shopify store?
Yes. I integrate and configure third-party apps and APIs, including payment gateways, upsell/cross-sell tools, product filters, and marketing apps, then test everything so it works correctly with your existing theme.
Q: What information do you need from me before starting?
Your store URL, theme admin access (or a staff account), and a clear description of the bug or customization you want. Screenshots or screen recordings of the issue speed things up a lot.
Q: Can you help with slow Shopify page load speed?
Yes. I audit your theme code, images, and installed apps to find what's slowing your store down, then optimize code, compress assets, and clean up unused scripts to improve load time and Core Web Vitals.
Q: Do you offer revisions if something isn't right after delivery?
Yes. I include revisions until the fix or customization matches what we agreed on. I also test across desktop and mobile before marking anything as delivered.
Q: Is my theme code safe? Will you touch anything I didn't ask about?
I only edit the specific files and sections needed for your request. I also recommend duplicating your theme before major changes, so your live store stays untouched until the update is tested and approved.
