What is Facebook CAPI and why do I need it?
Facebook Conversions API (CAPI) sends conversion data directly from your server to Meta, bypassing browser limitations like ad blockers, iOS 14+ restrictions, and cookie blocks. Without CAPI, you're losing 40-60% of conversion data, which makes Meta's ad optimization significantly worse.
What's the difference between Pixel and CAPI?
The Meta Pixel runs in the browser and gets blocked by ad blockers, Safari ITP, and iOS privacy settings. CAPI runs server-to-server and isn't affected by any of those. The best setup uses BOTH together with proper deduplication — that's what I configure.
What access do I need to provide?
I'll need: (1) Shopify admin/collaborator access, (2) Facebook Business Manager access, (3) Google Tag Manager access (or I'll create one), (4) domain DNS access for first-party setup. I'll send a clear access guide after order.
